About the Artist

Eric Rottcher is a mixed media artist based in Bethesda, Maryland. His work combines collage, decoupage, spray paint, and acrylics to explore themes of memory, grief, addiction, and recovery. Originally from Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, Rottcher draws from personal experience, using layered and often destructive processes to reflect emotional complexity and unresolved narratives. He holds a BFA from Shippensburg University and has exhibited in galleries across the U.S., including the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, TAG Gallery, and Brassworks Gallery. His work has also been featured in Pepper Magazine, Injection Magazine, and Inspirational Art Magazine
